David Gilmour - Live in Gdańsk

David Gilmour，曾任Pink Floyd的吉他手，在吉他界算是相較之下注目度稍低但影響力極大的人物。Gilmour於2006年時推出了最新的個人專輯叫做《On An Isalnd》，專輯推出後進行了不少場的Live巡迴演出，也推出了幾份現場錄音；其一是在Royal Albert Hall的《Remember That Night》，另外一個便是《Live in Gdańsk》。這張現場錄音在2008推出，日期剛好訂在Pink Floyd的鍵盤手Richard Wright過世後不久，由於這是Richard Wright生前最後參與的現場演出，因此這張唱片也得到了不少注目。



本來在3周前有打算要做一篇專門介紹David Gilmour的文章，不過Gilmour的音樂實在難以以三言兩語說盡，又不想把文章弄成只有愛玩吉他和效果器的人才看得懂的文章，所以至今仍難產。但欣賞音樂就不需要過多的文字潤飾了，把聽的工作留給耳朵，把冗長無聊且無病呻吟的樂評留給各大部落格的文豪去做吧。

Gilmour在這場演唱會裡除了為了票房保證一定會演出Pink Floyd的歌曲之外，On an Island內的所有歌曲也有表演。其中最近非常愛的一首是Where We Start，前奏的電鋼琴聲音一下，不知道為什麼有種淚腺要失控的感覺...
